Great product

Finally used one shoe for a tournament!!

Works Exactly As Described, Lil Tough to Attach Though

Been using this for a while now and it's working great to protect my shoe. I can slide as much as I want and the shield stays in place and is holding up well. My only complaint is that the plastic piece that goes over the shoe feels too rigid and the holes were not universal enough. It was very difficult to get it to attach through the laces and I had to put the laces through in a weird way. I'm worried the hard plastic might even cut through the laces before the shield itself wears down. Hopefully future models improve on this, I'll continue to use it either way.

The chassis (piece that attaches to the shoe) is made from a firm but flexible plastic, designed to be strong enough to support the shield, yet flexible enough to move when the shoe deforms or the shield contacts the court surface. Our experience and feedback to date is that wearing a Slide SHIELD increases the life of both the shoe and the shoe laces. Slide shield review

Not overly difficult to attach to shoe, can barely feel its there but has great effect as my shoes have been detereorating much less, with the slide shield contacting the hard court instead.
