It Started With a Hole in a Shoe
It's day one of a regional hardcourt tournament, and one of our teammates has already worn a hole clean through the side of their shoe. No tennis shop in sight. We spent the rest of the tournament improvising patches just to keep them playing.
Not ideal. But it sparked an idea.
We're tournament tennis players ourselves, so we knew this wasn't just bad luck — it's something that happens to players everywhere. That grinding slide into a recovery shot slowly chews through even the most expensive shoes. So we put our heads together and designed a solution.
That solution became Slide SHIELD.
So, What Does It Actually Do?
Slide SHIELD covers the inner sidewall of your shoe — the part that cops the most punishment when you slide. Instead of your shoe scraping against the court, the Slide SHIELD takes the hit.
Your shoes stay intact. Your feet stay protected. And you can stop wincing every time you go for a big slide.
It's super lightweight (we're talking 12–18 grams), fits most tennis and pickleball shoes, and you can grab one for your left foot, right foot, or both — whatever you need.
Pick Your Shield
We've got three models depending on how hard you play:
- CLUB — 3mm, 12g. Great for social and recreational players.
- COMP — 4.5mm. For the competitive club warriors out there.
- TOUR — 6mm, 18g. When you need maximum protection, match after match.

Aussie Made, Globally Played
We started selling online in late 2023 and things have grown pretty quickly since then. In 2025 we expanded to Amazon in Australia and the US, so more players could get their hands on Slide SHIELD faster and for less. And in 2026, we're hitting physical retail stores and sporting venues — because great gear should be easy to find.
Why We Do It
We want players focused on their game — not worrying about their shoes falling apart or their feet taking a beating.
